Who Can apply?
Applicants must have sucessfully completed the UofN Discipleship Training School – DTS. There is no age limit for participation.
We will need as well to receive a recommendation letter from your last school leader in order to process your application.
What will I learn in the School?
The program is desined for those who want to make God known by linking people together making godly use of today’s technology and media. The concepts to make this possible are covered in a variety of topics like:
Foundations in Information Technology
Biblical View Of Technology, Genesis Vision And Concept
Leadership And Pioneering
Leadership Models, Project Planning
Communication
Transcultural, Intrapersonal & Interpersonal
Online Broadcast & Content Production
Trends, Online Events, Digital Influencing
Educational Principles
Online Learning, Research, Classroom Facilitation, The University Of The Spirit.
How does the schedule look like ?
Each day you will have activities such as lectures, work duties (general duties around the base), hands-on workshops on a variety of themes like: Media, Audio, Video, IT and so on.
There are also weekly corporate events such as the base worship, and Comunity Night Meetings you will participate in.
Your weekends may have some school activities but will generally be free for you to explore the city and have some study time.
Is there an Outreach?
The GENESIS School offers the possibility of an optional Field Assingnement where the students will have the chance to develop a project in one or more of the following areas: Leadership, Communication, Education or Technology.
Where is Goa?
Goa, a state of India is located on the western coast of India. The state of Goa is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to its north and East. To the south lies the state of Karnataka, while to its west lies the Arabian Sea.
Why come to Goa?
YWAM Goa is located just minutes away from the beautiful ocean with a peaceful setting for studying. Students will study the topics in a classroom setting as well as individual study time.
Classes will include both live speakers and online lectures on a variety of topics from experienced staff and guest speakers from around the world.
When does it start?
Arrival: 22nd of September 2019
Departure: 15th of December 2019
What About School Costs?
All applicants must pay a registration non-refundable admin fee of ₹ 1.000 (INR) in order to process your application.
Cost for housing and food during the Lecture Phase:
₹ 20.000 (INR) – For Indian Nationals.
